Giclée is a Fine Art Reproduction providing the Highest Quality and Accuracy available in Printing.
The process starts with creating a High Resolution Digital Image that has been adjusted to accurately represent the original.
A specialized High Quality inkjet printer using 12 color pigmented inks is used to provide a much superior color range than other types of printing.
I use a professional Print Shop to produce Authentic Giclée Prints. I tried several before finding the perfect fit!
The Fine Art Paper is Professional Grade cold pressed 100% pure cotton rag with a watercolor style surface for a high-end visual impact. It’s a 200lb paper and has a substantial weight and feel.
The papers and the pigments are Archival meaning that they are designed to resist fading and yellowing and will last for many many years.
Most people can’t tell the difference between my originals and the Giclée. I have a few on my own walls and I believe that they are the finest representation of my artworks details and colors.
This information pertains to the Giclée Prints that I sell. Other print shops may not use 12 pigments. Other artists may choose different papers or print quality.
